About Us

After 4 years working as an assistant physiotherapist within the NHS Julie Perkins graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist with her Bachelor of Science degree from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University in 2008.  With a specialist interest in Orthopaedic Medicine she then went on to complete her Master of Science degree with the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine in 2012.

For the past 8 years Julie has practised within an outpatient role within the NHS in addition to private practice.  This has provided Julie with masses of invaluable experience which in addition to her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science gained in 1999 from Canterbury Christ Church University led her to establish Bourne Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic in 2011, providing musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to private patients, patients with private health insurance, and medico-legal referrals.
